More old pictures on my walls

the first, second and fourth images are ones i collected from old art magazines 1905-1922. i just really liked the images and searched for frames to put them in. i have loads more too.

the second is by Georges de Feure - an art nouveau designer from paris and one of my favorites.

the third - Aurora Borealis - is one i found in a thrift store many years ago. i have several versions of it - some in wonderful frames, but this one has the best image quality.

The printing processes that people used for color images back then were just amazing. It's very hard to find modern images which are so precise and carefully done. Even black/white images for newspapers were often meticulously labored over and the results are amazing compared to what is produced today.
