    I may have been had on this item but would love to hear from someone who can tell me otherwise :) I bought this at an auction that doesn't specialize in antiques and collectibles. It was part of a choice and the man working the block said it must be collectible because he had never seen one like it, and I bit (not my most solid move). Anyway, it's 8 x 5.5 and has no makers mark on the back but seems to have some numbers on the top. There is some wear on the red paint, her tutu is some kind of material, sort of like fur. Thanks for any insight. Beth

      I would hazard that it is from the late 40s early 50s. Just a cute piece! If you paid under 20 bucks you did okay.
