    Another type of Czech pottery, the Ditmar urbach figurals. Covered pieces are hard to find, the lid is frequently missing. The lower shelf in the third picture has some other urbach pieces of different types. The ones in the third picture belong to a dealer friend of mine. The toiucan and the rooster are the most commonly seen although you don't see a lot of them in the midwest.

      Thanks. Its hard not to like these. A good thing about these is that the catalogues were found a few years ago. Although the are hard to imitate, ususual pieces can be verified by finding the molds. Always good to have the source.
