    this watch belonged to my great aunt Emma i think its so cool that there is an original paper in the back but i have no idea as to the age
    she was born in 1862 and married in 1884 in st louis mo any ideas?

      This is one of the first times ive seen one with the paper still in the back, pretty neat....

      i know as soon as i find my magnifying glass ill be able to read it !
      do you know what the value on the watch would be ? i have her husbands watch too just have to remember where i hid it

      so upset!! almost 120 years old , keeps great time & guess who just put her thumb through the crystal ?

      Yikes! Hope you didn't cut yourself. Don't stress though, a replacement glass can be put in and it will be like new again!

      thanks it was the most paper thin glass i have ever seen
