This is a vinegar & oil cruet made out of some sort of pottery that was found on our local river 37 years ago when it dried up. I am wondering how old it is and what type of pottery it might be. Any info would help.

Are there no marks on the base?. If so please post a pic.

No, there do not seem to be any markings of any sort. But I think it is very old, and might have been brought overseas by some pioneer?
