    Bought this at the flea market today. I think they are ww2 tech sgt. stripes. They are flat edged, not embroided,1st images are the front(white T), 2nd images are the back (dark T)...any comments?

      I believe that they are Technician 4th grade stripes. The order is confusing and doesn't match the pay grade-- Tech 5th grade is same pay grade as a CPL and Tech 3rd grade is the same as a SSG.

      More modern Specialist ranks DID correspond to the grade. A SPEC 4 was an E-4, Spec 5 was an E-5...
