Vintage Panetta Undulating Petals Amethyst Necklace

This happens to be one of my most favorite necklaces, and by my favorite company. This was a brooch, but the pin had been broken off and a jump ring was soldered to it, converting the beautiful piece into a pendant. This design is rarely seen, and is probably one of Panetta's earlier designs. The pendant is large and features an open-network of seemingly undulating petals; each with a crystal rhinestone at the tip. The center features a large amethyst rhinestone. True to Panetta's work, all stones are unfoiled but shines like a real gem. Sad to see it go, but there will be others!
