My mum had this brooch since 1963 as she wore it when she remarried. I believe it to be silver back & not crystal the metal is not silver I think it is platinum if anyone knows anything else I would love to know.

To me it is even if we were not close just knowing she wore it to marry my step father whom I adored makes it more special. Another shame not to have someone to pass it on to makes things hard as my sisters would not appreciate it for what it stands for.
