    Found in Richmond bc alone old swamp it seems to be made out of ivory not sure though found it 5 min ago so don't want to try and clean till I find out what it is and how it should be cleaned

      looks like bone or ivory but could turn out to be resin, run it under the tap and or wash in water with a touch of washing up liquid, this wont hurt it. a lot of this kind of statues are found in the river thames in london as they were and still are thrown in as part of a festival/worship.
