Hello, bought today perfect condition, no cracks or chips, one spot where price tag was needs cleaning of tape. Kind of odd shape, which I like! I like chocolate Italy ceramics! I will try to research the hallmark, but it was $3.75 so I like it, do not need it! The leaves are also colorful!! Thanks for looking! ceramics and glass are what I do not know much about! Don

It is a real beauty Don.
I believe this is by the Fratelli Fanciullacci!
      Really neat!
I'd even say: Drop Dead Gorgeous!
      Congratulations!
      A keeper!

Thanks to both of you!! I must go back in the early AM as there was a vase also! It looked similar, It was also large, I am taking the nectarines out of it as they may stain it! I will look up this Sr. Fratelli!

He Don. Look up Fanciullacci. The fratelli or brothers F. had a big factory in Montelupo near Florence.
Walter Pellegrino says this of them:
"They created new items in Raffaellesco, Istoriati, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Futurism, Cubism, Modernism, Avante-Garde. Whatever the public wanted the brothers gave them."

Walter may not think that this is an FF piece. The jury is still out ......
Buy the other one if it is in good, perfect nick.

Thar mark is intriguing. The 'B' is suggestive. Will ask some others here I know will have more info.

Thank you very much! Without looking at your collection, I would not have bought this, now I like it! even if it it is not FF! I have seen hundreds of I guess Italy and majolica things, just never thought they were valuable! Live and learn! I do like this, the leaves and chocolate color!! Thanks a million! Don
