I am the owner of five Hamiltons: an original Boulton (1940s-50s vintage; nonworking), a 1948 Ashley, a 1954-1957 Blair--my crown jewel, repaired, oiled and cleaned since purchasing it as inoperable on EBay--and reissues of the Boulton with a blue dial (small) and the Lloyd (not the most recent reissue but the one that hews faithfully to the original 1954 model). While I like other vintage watchmakers that are more affordable--Longines, Gruen, Elgin, Bulova, Movado--the Hamilton is my # 1. (Read more)
