the only thing i remember about Wilhelm Baumann is that he worked in the Richard Uhlemeyer Workshop in Hannover.
Wilhelm Baumann opened his own workshop. Short after
i own a painting by Wilhelm Baumann as well
these vases has been a part of a collection... unfortunately the other part with his vita and further informations about him has been bought by somebody else
i haven't found any further informations in the web so far

What a nice group of pots GTMOOM :) I have a pair of mystery studio pottery vases I posted a while back. It looks similar to the tallest one in shape except it's pushed in on the side. It has a "W" inside a circle on the bottom. I wonder if it's the same artist as these pieces ?? -Mike-

      hi mike
i had a look at your 2 mystery pots
actually i don't think that they're by baumann
as far as i know baumann allways used a red clay
and the clay of one of your mysteries is different
i still have hundreds of not identified pots...
hopefully you just have two ;-)
