This was my grandads pipe, as he past away it has been handed to my mum and she wondered if anyone knows how much this would be worth

If you give me permission to share your photo's I can get you an answer. I have a friend that restores antique and vintage smoking pipes. He also buys, sells and imports them along with pipe making woods and materials.

OK, I will save them and send them to him. Being a weekend he may not see them until Monday. This will bounce in to my email and I will save it so I can locate the post again.
The proportions & detail are fantastic. I've seen some nice ones, but this is tops or close to it!
Obviously I won't post a value but I did get an answer as to the pipe. It isn't uncommon and it has condition issues. You won't get a steak but probably McDonalds for two if you can find a buyer. I am sure you researched them as I did but thought I would ask a pro to see what he said. In fine condition you might get the steak. The main issue he saw was finding a buyer for a pipe with issues. Sorry, I tried.

I didn't ask him to date it but I am sure he could have. I was calling in a favor asking what I asked. I am getting ready to ship him some exotic hardwood for free so hope to have more favors in the future. I could sell it but seeing someone appreciate it is worth more. My turn is over, time to pass it along.
