None of these date any sooner than 1927. Picking is a walk in different history everyday. Can anyone give me a solid date on the Ogdens Tabacco sign.

The wheels are 14 spoke. That is what was used by the military for decades before & after the Civil War. Most civilian wheels were 12 spokes. Many surplus military wheels were used by the civilian trade but hard to find today. The hubs are obviously to large/strong for civilian made. I'm fairly certain these were military wheels at one time & altered. Artillery wheels with hubs like this for 6 pdr thru maybe 12 pdr cannons but also the specs for most rear wheels of supply wagons etc.. The usual dia. would be 57 inches. Wish I had those hubs when I was rebuilding the wheels for my 3" Ord. Rifle that I posted here long ago. This is no joke! Funny how you run into people on CW with such strange expertise! LOL
