Very nice and in box ! Has her coloring changed to a whiter shade than under her swimsuit and are her bangs very soft or a bit stiffer than ponytail ?
      Thanks for sharing her . I have a #3 posted that I love !

Yes her color has changed to the whiter shade. That is what I love about the #3s. Her bangs are very soft. Your #3 doll is beautiful. The GI Joe is nice too!

For people who do not know There was a Number 1 Barbie which I saw the day she went for sale at my dime store when I was a little girl . Myself and friend stood in amazement as we looked at rows of Barbies with more make up than we had ever seen or a chest like that . But she did not attract us but the shelf below her was filled with boxed clothes for her that were so beautiful but we knew our parents could not afford them so we picked another doll we found much prettier a Little Miss Revlon . Now I wish I had bought whole shelf of the number one's . She had very high arched eyebrows but did not hold her color . Mattel offered to have her returned to them for another . Not many know that and my cousin did return her's . I believe that is why they are so hard to come by Along came #2 which is more rare than number 1 . Then Along comes version #3 who now had more natural eyebrows and her eyes were not so heavy in black eyeliner but she did not hold her color well . She is a very desirable Barbie . Followed by #4,5.6 in same ponytail but bangs are stiffer than her hair and they tend to get a oily skin . So when you see a Ponytail Barbie know what version your buying as 1,2 and 3 are most valuable and least abundant . Mattel also kept using same year on their dolls buttocks for many many years and you can not date one by that date . Anyway that is my first experience with Barbies as we were on West coast where Mattel tried them out to see how well they were received . She has survived all these years but I would never have thought so when I was a little girl and that scary doll was on shelf . We were used to Bride dolls and baby dolls nothing like her .
