I believe the item is a French jewelry casket that has the engraving of "Le Loup et Ageanu" on the cover. The box measures 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 x 1 3/4. The box appears to be made out of copper or brass. The item is in fair condition and missing the liner.
The top has a bird in two of the corners with a wolf and a lamb. The front and back panels have two dogs chasing a boar and the side panels have a dog running.
Can someone tell me the age, who made it, what it's made of?
