i don't know but these are kind of charming to hang on a wall in an Italian restaurant. i've never kept these before, but i think i will from now on.

These are neat display items. I have read they are called demijohn and/or carboy.
Is lovely! In spanish called "damajuanas" and these is a damajuana lined in "mimbre", this is the material of the basket contains.
I had one many years ago.

Yes Virginia I had read that also but didn't know how to spell it correctly so left it out. No matter because you knew how to spell it. Thanks for sharing the spelling for us. I dislike trying to spell some things.
