    I purchased this piece about two years ago. It has a kw mark on the back with I think stands for the wheaton kemple company but am unsure about that.

      looks like a possible marriage of Hobstar & Fan candy lid with Dewdrop saucer. When Kemple went out of business many of the molds went to Wheaton.

      Yes, the top is part of the Wheaton butter dish ... I have a full set in that pattern.

      Depending on the size of that top, it may be a part of the covered candy dish that Wheaton made.

      The plate has the K on it so it is a Kemple .... Maybe a lace and dewdrop plate
