BEAUTIFUL!! Looks very much like Murano glass.
Beautiful Michele! It appears to be a Murano bullicante (controlled bubbles) dish. The folded edge treatment and prunts is a classic Murano design. Although I don't get it, these are sometimes referred to as clam shell dishes. The quality is excellent and the base shows the appropriate wear, so I feel pretty sure that it's vintage Murano. I once owned a very similar astray which dated from the 60's.
