A recent find at a flea market, this beautiful KARBRA of New York, 14k gold "SNOWFLAKE" Brooch that is almost a match to this year's Christmas Tim Horton coffee cup. It has a trio of tiny pearls at the end of each tip and a larger central pearl surrounded by 6 tiny turquoise. It is simply stamped KARBRA (C) 63, weighs 14gms and measures 2" in diameter. I didn't know anything about KARBRA but I quickly found out it was a top notch jewelry manufacturer who worked mainly on special orders and in precious metals. Because it wasn't marked with a gold mark, the price was really reasonable. RER

I found an address in NY City for Karbra and an Internet site where you could contact the company. I sent them photos of this beautiful brooch to find out if they had drawings of this brooch or other info. and they never replied. They seem to be quite secretive. Can anyone add any info. I know that it's made of at least 14k gold. RER
