This is my latest addition to my small collection of amber jewelry. The ring has a large, honey-colored, glowing amber cabochon. The design reminds me a bit of Mexican pieces but the ring is only marked 925.

Thanks, kyratango. I like the color of amber too. We have a store here selling beautiful amber pieces from Poland. I love to look at them, but they are a bit too pricy for my budget:(
Mary, I am looking forward to seeing your amber. I know how it feels to want to get a reminder of a nice trip but not finding the right item for whatever reason. I once bought a sterling ring in a small town close to the Baltic Sea. Iwas still a student and the ring was all I could afford at the time. I wonder where it is. I must have lost it.
