Carafe is 8 1/2" tall, 5 1/2" across at the base and 2 3/4" across the neck. Pattern appears to be strawberry diamond and fan. Picked this up at a goodwill where some "decorator" had half filled it with glass marbles for "effect". Luckily, they didn't chip anything on the way in or out. Not sure about age, and as very common, there is no mark on it.

I have the same carafe, and I haven't had much success in finding the manufacturer or pattern name. At first I thought it was EAPG Holbrook, but I don't think that's right. Definitely not American Brilliant, although I've seen it mislabeled as such online. Right now I'm exploring English and Canadian glass to see if I can pinpoint it.

Did you know that a zillion companies cut this pattern in both America and in Belgium by Val. St. Lambert. It is Strawberry Diamond and Fan. You say Hawkes how do you know this? Is it signed?

Sorry, I just saw that you said it is not signed which does not surprise me.

It's pretty, I like the way it shows so well on the blue material. Did you get the marbles too? How bout posting those? I love marbles ;)
