Can any body help with identifying these 2 trunks I picked up. The larger of the 2 is leather covered the other tin or I think it's tin. Thanks

Here is the patent for one of the the latches!I'll look for other parts!

I believe that this patent may apply to the latch on the first picture, yours has a
slight variation with the rounded portion that was adopted later.
