This reminds me of some Italian - Bitossi - buddhas i've seen, but it's really tiny. Probably new and Chinese. But i still love all Buddha images!

ho2cultcha I used to collect Buddhas back in the 60's and 70's. I will have to get my big one down off the shelf and dust him off and post him. I bought him in Europe in 67. Most of mine I have either sold or passed down to my son. Son has my jade Buddha and loves it. I think I got him in Thailand.
please do post! i really love collecting Buddha and Bodhisatva figures! no fancy ones yet, but i love them just the same.
ho2 I just got him down. Recharging the camera and will post him shortly.
I love them, its actually Shiva, yes Chinese, and fairly new. I have some large ones, in the house and two on the patio. Never put one in the bathroom or bedroom per my Chinese friends.
As I zoom in and look closer, he is older than I first thought, the crazing/crackle of the paint in an indicator. Is he gold colored under the blue?
thanks Trent. there is some gold color in it, but not an undercoat. this is definitely a Buddha figure, and he is showing a mudra which is similar, but not the same as a common Shiva mudra.
