These were a few of the pieces I picked up two days ago. I like the Orrefors Colora range. The blue one I think dates to 1955 and was designed by Sven Palmquist, Orrefors (dimensions: w: 13 cm, h: about 5 cm.) .I also got two orange ones. They are really heavy and chunky.
The yellow vase is by Erik Höglund and is signed H 1672/110. It has a polished pontil and is again nice and chunky. The glass becomes translucent half way down. I do not know what this range by Erik Höglund is called but I really like its simplicity and the vibrancy of the colour. It looks like vaseline glass.
The plate is by an Australian firm called Ellis a pottery set up by Dagmar and Miloslav Kratochvil in Abbotsford, Melbourne, in 1953. Immigration in the post-war period gave Australia many talented potters.
