Mae Mutz was from Sichivo Pueblo on Hopi lands and was actively potting between 1960-1983. I just really like the critter!

Nice pot! (It's a moth, not a mosquito.)

Both Gregory Schaaf's book "Hopi-Tewa Pottery, 500 Artist Biographies," and the Adobe Gallery website, say May Mutz was active from 1960 to 1983.

The village on First Mesa that she was from. is "Sichomovi." Don't know if you can edit after the post, but I presume you also meant she was "potting", rather than "botting"!
