This was a super buy it now on eBay AU - a really nice piece of Bohemian Art Nouveau glass!
It is made from two layers of opalescent glass, the inner layer being "whiter", while still translucent. The vase measures 20.5 cm tall, 4.2 cm across the top rim, & 6 cm across the base, which does not have a pontil mark.
It has subtle vertical ribbing & applied ruby red veined decoration. The veined threads are extremely fine & wiry in texture.
In perfect condition.
Maybe by Kralik? It is similar in some ways to a known Kralik vase in my collection with green threading over a milky opalescent ground (that one is much taller). Anyway, I think it is of Bohemian origin circa 1900.

These dianthus were planted exactly four years ago & have endured through drought & then two years of heavy rain, plus the occasional dusting of snow - they're cute but tough!
