This was a super win on eBay AU - a Welz hexagon vase!
I haven't seen one like this for sale before. The vase is made from two layers of cased glass, clear over a pale blue & white spatter. It measures 17.5 cm tall, 11 cm across the crimped top rim, & 6.3 cm across the base, which has a polished out pontil mark.
The top rim has a zig zag style crimp & is completed with a clear crest.
Even though the seller mentioned the size, it is more substantial than I expected.
In perfect condition, made by Welz.
So very pretty!

Much appreciated, Peggy! Yes, I checked your posts to confirm that it was a Welz hexagon after spotting it. This style is so different to the miniature hexagons, the crimped rim is very impressive. It is a tasteful decor but of course I love all the loud ones too!
