This 2 1-4"L stylized shamrock brooch has one central round emerald green stone, and three sets of white rhinestone clusters inside the three clover leaves, in a sterling silver setting. By Bond Boyd of Canada marked on reverse, ca 1960s

Beautiful brooch Jenni, it also looks like a Celtic cross a lot? I think it's the leaves and round centerpiece of the shamrock?! Celtic crosses are beautiful objects too so it's lovely to look at this brooch and see that too as well as a shamrock.
The 'ribbons' from it look great too, draping and turned up at the tips like real ribbons- so well done!

Lauren you have the most perceptive eye, you're definitely right I can see a Celtic cross in it also, esp that center design around the big green stone. Have an absolutely joyful St Patrick's Day, you must have some grand celebrations in Ireland, we have many diverse types of parades with marching bands here in New York (both the City and Long Island where I live) that will keep the festivities going all weekend
