Found this item when we bought the contents of a Country Church basement. I think that it was leftover from a church bizarre/yardsale ( my mother remembers one being held in the sixties. I know nothing of costume jewelry, and was going to toss it until I noticed the clasp had writing on it. I was very surprised when I Googled the name Trifari. Has anyone seen one like this, or know it's value?

Wow ! Trifari is very sought after and sells high . I sold the brooch I have posted for 100.00 on ebay . I did do worldwide and it went to Europe . It is beautiful what a great find !
Is it sterling Silver ?
I'm not sure, I can't find any other markings on it, it has a gold color to it, & doesn't look tarnished. BTW it is 14" long.
If it has a gold color then not sterling :-( Anyway it is beautiful and would do well as it is a company known for high quality jewelry. Ebay is slow right now but I would surely think it would sell for a low of $ 50 and if buyers are bidding upward to $100 .
