Hi! I found this sweet little doll and brought it home to give to my daughter. I started taking a closer look at it and it seems special. The clothes, although old, are very nicely made (she has multiple layers, such as petticoat). Her back is marked Germany. Does anyone know anything about her? Thanks in advance! Julie

Mani, Many thanks for taking the time to help me :D I love her too! Nice to know some history, so we can think about what kind of a life she lived :D Thanks again!
Mani, Forgot to ask...Any idea as to who might have made her? Thanks!
Jewels because there were many many German doll makers at time without a symbol on her or numbers it is hard to ever know who made her . It would not change her value either way . There are dolls that it does matter who made them the larger ones as in anyplace there were German companies that did better quality than others but most important it the larger bisque doll face and how common they are sets price a character face always sells for more than what we call a dolly face ect . You have a nice little doll and I would just love her :-)
Thank you for sharing her !
Thanks Mani! We will keep her forever and we will love her :D
So Cute!!!!
Thank you Kathycat! :)
