If there is one thing I absolutely love in my kitchen it would be this serving platter. I was helping my dear friend clean out her "cupboards" one day (I say cabinets) and she gave this to me! I don't know much about it, but I love it to say the least. Did I mention I love this? :D

love it !!!!!!!!!!! you been a busy gal!!!!!!!!!
very nice Elegant Glass center handled server; pretty sure it is the 'Empress' pattern by Heisey
Oh thank you Tallcakes for the info. Do you know what one would call this platter with the handle? I am thinking "platter" isn't the right word for it. I use this to serve finger sandwiches at special parties.
Thank you Bellin love love!!!
generically it's called a 'center handled server', or just a 'server' for short.
Oh, and sometime called a 'tidbit tray'
anytime treece76!!!!!!!!
Thanks Tallcakes!!
These were also refered to as "Center handled sandwich trays" apparently popular for serving little tea sandwiches for bridge parties.
It is Heisey's Empress, with a nice rock crystal cutting, possibly done by a decorating firm rather than by Heisey.
Thank you Paula71, great info!
thanks for the love @hedgewalker, beauxpurdy, bratjdd, pickrknows, and scandinavian_pieces
