This is one of my collection of "quack" electromedical devices. This is an Electreat Mechanical Heart. It runs by batteries held inside the device. It comes with various electrodes and a probe and I DO NOT want to know where the probe has been! This device, as most of this type were, is touted to cure all ailments and pain. There are three different instructional booklets that came with this as well as a letter dated 1940 written to someone with specific instructions in how to use it with reversed polarity. I will try to post several other items like this as I get time.
