Outstanding turn-of-the-century elaborately carved rare Victorian Music Cabinet. Cabinet opens into two shelves held up by wood dowels in notches. At one time there was fabric between oak pieces and carving on door. Have all pieces. Door has very elaborate front panel carving of musicians playing surrounded by beading which is here but not attached. Drawer pulls out via fancy knight cast bronze handle. Stick and ball carving surround top which has cameo in center. Has working rolling wooden wheels. Lock also works and I have a key but not certain if key is original. Has been in my family 30 years, originated from New England but do not know where it was made.
This item is in good condition considering the age. Was told value could be up to $4000. Need to know because I would like to sell soon to raise funds for my non-profit abuserecovery.us in Central Florida.
