I was very excited to find this rare example of Loetz Medici decor with a yellow ground (brown is much more common, examples in blue are also rare) and beautiful blue/green oil spot in three sections around the body of the vase. I couldn't find the exact shape in the published line drawings, but this should date to about 1905. The last photo shows the new vase next to a lobed rose bowl in Medici in the more common brown color. If anyone has any other example of this shape, please let me know. Height is about 7 inches.
