      I can't tell you about the item as shown but I would suspect the carving was done with a router as opposed to being carved with a hand chisel. A friend of mine up north used to take orders for routed images and made them in his garage. They were sent in and framed and then on to a retailer. Now days it is done with a computerized machine. You can upload a picture of yourself and the machine will carve it.
