Could anybody tell me the maker and year of this wall clock? I went throught over thousands of pictures on a clock website but didnt find anything like this.

    Try looking for Gustav Becker wall clocks, it looks very similar to the one I have, there is another name but I can't quite think of it at the moment, but hopefully this will be start for you..there will be people on here that will be able to help you I'm sure, good luck...:-)

    Sorry me again!.. try also looking under double weight Vienna wall clocks and I would say it was c1880...:-)

    Thank u!! It definately looks like a GB Vienna Regulator. It doesnt have double weight though. It's a wind up, makes beautiful sounds. What R=A means on the pendulum?

    I think it means that turning toward R will retard - toward A to advanace - speed it up....:-)

    You clock is probably a German vienna clock, from the 19th century. If you take the movement out the maker should be on the back plate. Thanks!
