HARD to find, and JUST arrived in the mail today! This Ebay find, a "BUY IT NOW" for $7.00 was well worth the hunt. This 1903 post card shows an enlisted Marine leaning against a wall or building somewhere in Cuba. Clearly shown is his eagle snap cartridge belt, and KRAG bayonet. Hence why I believe this is post marked 1903, and NOT 1908, as by then, the Marine on duty would have been issued the 1903 Springfeild Rifle bayonet. Also he wears the early style Spanish American war era Campaigh hat with E.G.A. attached to front of the hat. Post marked 1903, and shows wear from going through the postal system, still a GREAT & EARLY US Marine Corps RPPC!!
Enjoy!
