Thanks for the interest folks, I appreciate it. Hopefully someone will see this and know exactly what it is and what it was used for. It reminds me of a telescope, without a lens of course.
It is metal lined in the long part.
No it don't smell of smoke. It's kinda cone shaped on the inside and open at both ends.
Thanks for the info fhrjr2. I forgot to mention that you can see through it. In other words its hollow from end to end. Not sure how it would snuff out fire from cigar. Is it missing parts?
