Karl Scheid is one of the important figures of german pottery. In 1956 he opened his own design studio and his wife Ursula Scheid joins the cooperation 1959. they allways had a close relationship to beate kuhn and other well known german potters.
The Scheids have been working for Rosenthal since 1979
