It's been cold up here in Ottawa these past few days and Nature has been busy amazing us with it's Artwork. We've all seen how intricate and unique Snowflakes can be but this morning at -28C, we found this beautiful design on the outside of an upstairs window. My photos are a bit fuzzy but you can see how busy mother nature has been. The needle-etched designs reminds me of the intricate patterns seen on fine glassware by Tiffin, Cambridge etc.. Enjoy, BOB

We had -7 F here in Chicago for a couple of days (-18C) which was nasty here in Chicago. I was not happy.
      Beautiful picture! Stay warm!

I'm a "mean ole buss" & no "-". I live in St. Maarten/St. Martin. Hey Lou, you chose to live there & I chose to live here.

Actually, I have seen these before during my many visits to Canada. Country is beautiful, - the weather sucks! What causes those vine-like patterns?

I have no idea why the cold creates these designs. My photos don't really show the intricacies of the designs. BOB

An implanted island boy, but have been to Canada 105 times. I have mental pictures that are priceless. No videos with sound track could ever come close to describing actually watching a good Northern Lights show with the cold wind on your face!

Thanks AmberRose for the comments and Love. I always watch the Weather in Chicago because we seem to always get your nasty weather one day later. BOB
