    I purchased this several years ago at a yard sale . Carved stone in top (jadeite?) silk lined box ,brass appliques and brass lock . Key is not original but works fine . Any ideas of value ? Jack

      Agreed that it is a nice jewellery box. The openwork hardstone at the top looks like nephrite instead of jadeite.
