Pair of Elaborate Georgian/Victorian CUT STEEL Shoe Buckles

There has been some CUT STEEL Jewelry uploaded here at CW but I thought I'd show these intricate Shoe Decorations that would have been in vogue in the Georgian and Victorian days. Not sure if they were used on male or female footwear. The backings of these shoe buckles are even more intricate than the fronts. They measure 1 1/2" with the central flower measuring 3/8" and each buckle contains over 100 cut steel gems. RER(BOB)
