    Dont know much about his pipe anyone help? My uncle would like me to get some info for this pipe all he knows is that it was made in germany and that its old.

      I agree with blunderbuss2 wonderful & guessing by the looks of it I would say the age on pipe would be correct. Very very lucky

      I am skeptical of the date matching the age.

      Much of it has what appears to be an applied aging vs. actual aging. Additionally, the stem looks very odd.

      The brass cover may be helpful when determining age.

      Recommend you contact some pipe collectors to get some other opinions.
