Picked this up a few months ago out in Virginia. I didn't have time to inspect it closely at the time but for $6 I was willing to take the gamble. Got it home, hung and leveled it, wound both tracks.... low and behold it's a Bim Bam Box. It double chimes so each hour strike is like a standard doorbell (ding dong) but nicer, if you can imagine. Currently my favorite clock in my little collection and it hangs in my office.

I haven't been able to find any info on Daia other than listing it as very modern Japanese company. If anyone knows about this company or clock, it's age or where it's from I'd love to hear.

Again, my thought far eastern import "Retro" clock. I found that the newer import clocks are good timepieces at affordable price, and like you said 6 bucks, can't go wrong.

Thanks Kerry10456, I didn't think any of these were really old except for maybe the New Haven but now I'm not so sure on that one either.

the face has been replaced. some clock guys will replace the face if the original is not readable. but I still can't quite place the woodwork. I am guessing Pennsylvania Dutch and mahogany. let me know if I am right.
