Like the Pogo "Oxydol figures" these cups were given away with Procter & Gamble products in 1969 to promote a Pogo cartoon on NBC. I have Howland Owl, Pogo, and Albert. A friend gave me one because she knew I liked Pogo; can't remember where I got the other two. The full set also includes Beauregard, Churchy and Porky.
I GO POGO...lol brings back the memories as I had all the books. Thanks fer sharing.
Boy howdy, wouldn't Pogo have a ball in today political arena ? They were alway subtile but 'cutting edge'........
