I always pick up these pantry boxes when the price is right. i prefer ones which have been painted cool colors, but even like this, they are cool. from the Alameda Flea Market yesterday.

I had one very similar. I believe some might have been for storing or shipping cheese in.
I would use it as a teeny hat box ;)
