    I am originally from were there are a lot of coal mines in West Virginia and Kentucky. Not sure who the folks are in the photos but I love them. They speak to me the Appalachian Heritage and I love them.

      great photos of history!! wow very nice!! these have really captured the expressions on there faces. I wondered if there were taken during the depression?
