This is a great old Blue Mountain Pottery Item, Thanks to antiquerose's post on Blue Mountain Pottery I managed to find this piece listed as Mold #39 from the 1950's catalogue, that they have posted.
Of course that doesn't really mean this piece is a 1950's piece but it does have the older mark on it.
Not really sure what you would call this item though?

Still a great piece in excellent condition, it comes from my mother's estate and will probably be sold by my Sister on ebay at some point this week :-(

Thanks ERICOCON - for the post/credit. Glad those links could help you. Yes, this is an old mark!!!

Glad I was able to help. Not sure what it is? Maybe a Candy dish, or just a decor piece, or it could have even been an ashtray for a Pipe smoker -- as Pipe smoking was popular back then too.

      Great Post!!

Thank you antiquerose, I think it would probably be a candy dish as that would kind of fit the style... for now that is what I will call it Lol.
Problem I find with Blue Mountain Pottery is no one really knows when they stopped using one mark and went to the next mark, I now the 3 trees are from 76 and lasted a couple years but other then that not much.
I have visited the factory a number of times, and even back then you could purchase items with different marks... go figure :-)

I think they re-used the molds at different times....like many other companies did. Sometimes places even *sold* their molds to another. So yeah -- nothing easy in the world of Collectibles......LOL.
