    This Art Deco fox terrier brooch reminds me a bit of some brooches by Jakob Bengel (you can see some of them on 'Sheryl's Art Deco' website). It is marked 'TCHECOSLOVAQUIE' at the back as some of Bengel's pieces that were exported. However, I don't believe it is Bengel's work. The dog seems to be made of celluloid and not galalith as most Bengel's pieces of jewelry. A nice little chap though... ;)
